Having thought about it for a while, I am finally offering the option of having the legs on your bed frame tapered instead of straight. In the interest of maintaining the strength for which these bed frames are known, the taper is relatively slight, but it does help to break up some of the “squareness” of the frame, if that’s what you like. All four sides are tapered, and adding this option to a bed frame (fir or hardwood) costs $80, due to the time involved.
